In November 2024 we traced $1.8 million in scammed BTC. As of today, we have traced a total of $1.7 billion of cryptocurrency scammed over several years. Because of the immutable nature of blockchains, they provide visible, permanent, tamper-proof records that can be analyzed years later.
Reactor, the software we use to trace cryptocurrency and non-fungible tokens, was found to achieve “true positive rates” of 94.85% with false positive rates of less than 0.15% in a peer reviewed study presented at the 34th USENIX Security Symposium as reported by Chainalysis on September 25, 2025.
